If the nuclear industry could tell its story the way these people sing its problems would be over.
A beautiful performance by the Celtic Women

Dan Hartman's "I can dream about you" from the soundtrack of the movie "Streets of Fire." This is the victory dance sequence. There are online video versions with better sound, but this is the only one with the complete dance routines.

You know, I don't GET opera. But this brought tears to my eyes. Twice. Thank you.
What do you mean you don't "get" Opera? You just did! There's another level of experience waiting for you: go see a live performance.
I remember stumbling upon Paul Potts' performance and watching it with mixed emotions: disbelief and enthusiasm. Disbelief because I had prejudged him on appearance; enthusiasm because he proved the doubters wrong - including me.
The emotion Brad F refers to, I think, is due to the power and beauty of the music and the response he elicits from the audience. One can't help but get a lump in your throat when you watch Amanda fight back her tears of astonishment at his voice.
Do the same viewing of Susan Boyle with Les Mesirable "I had a dream".
Thank you, Dan, for your musical interludes among the nuclear news.
